The "Guardians" tab allows you to manage the data of the patient's guardians. In the tab there is a form for adding a new patient's guardian and under it a list of all guardians of a given patient (if any have been entered) with access to the data of each of them after clicking on the bar with the name and surname or name of the guardian.

To add a new guardian, select the type of guardian in the form (the guardian can be a person or organization) and then additional fields appropriate for a given type of guardian will be displayed. At least the fields with a blue border must be completed. If the introduced guardian is also a health care patient, then instead of entering his data, you can use the "Insert other patient's data" button. After pressing this button, a window with a patient search engine opens, where you can find a guardian and use the button "Insert patient's data" to insert his data into the form for adding a guardian (search mechanism considers both active and inactive patients).

The button "Insert other patient's data" closes the patient search window and fills in the form for adding a guardian with the data of this patient as a guardian. Below the form for adding a new one guardian there are buttons:

  • Add - add a tutor and it will remain in the "Guardians" tab of the patient's card
  • Add and exit - add a guardian and return to the patient search engine
  • Cancel - deletes the data entered into the form (clearing the form) and will remain in the "Guardian" tab of the patient's card
  • Back to patient search - return to the patient search engine without adding a guardian

Regardless of the add button used, the system verifies the correctness of the data from the form before adding the guardian to the database. If any irregularities are found, an error message is displayed indicating what should be corrected in the form. In the case of such a message, correct the data in the form in accordance with the content of the message and try to add a guardian again. Correctly adding a guardian to the database ends with displaying a message about the successful completion of the operation, displaying a blank form for adding a guardian and under it a list of all guardians for the patient, including the one that was just added (if the "Add" button was used to add a guardian) or displaying a message about successful completion of the operation and displaying the patient search engine (if the "Add and exit" button was used to add a guardian).

Below the form for adding a new guardian, a list of all patient guardian is displayed. For each guardian, there is an information bar with the name and surname / name of the guardian. To modify the data of any of these guardians, click on the selected guardian's information bar. After clicking under the information bar, a full form filled with the guardian's details will be displayed. Below the data form of the selected guardian there are buttons:

  • Save - saves the changes and remains in the "Guardians" tab of the patient's card
  • Save and Exit - save changes and return to the patient search engine
  • Cancel - withdraw changes and it will remain in the "Guardians" tab of the patient's card
  • Delete - deletes the guardian and will remain in the "Guardians" tab of the patient's card
  • Delete and Exit - remove the guardian and return to the patient finder

Return to patient search - return to the patient search engine without saving changes Regardless of the save button used, the system verifies the correctness of the data from the form before saving the changes to the database. Correct saving to the database ends with displaying a message about the successful completion of the operation, displaying a blank form for adding a guardian, and under it a list of all guardians of the patient, including the one that has just been modified (if the "Save" button was used to save) or displaying a message about successful completion and displaying the patient search engine (if the "Save and exit" button was used to save the data).

To remove a guardian, use one of the "Delete" or "Delete and Exit" buttons under the guardian data form. After pressing the button, you will be asked to confirm your deletion, and the deletion will take place after confirmation.
