The "Menu" functionality in the "CTC" menu is used to define menus for the care and treatment institution. After selecting this functionality, a list of care and treatment institutions selection is displayed. After selecting a bet and clicking the "Search" button, a list of menus is displayed, with “Shopping”, "Edit" and "Delete" next to each one. The "Add" and "Shoppiing (bulk)" buttons are displayed under the list of menus.

To add a new menu, click the "Add" button below the menu list. The menu adding form will then be displayed. The form by default displays fields for entering all meals on one day of the menu. If the same meals are to be repeated on different days, then you should use the "More" button under the date field - each click of it displays an additional field that allows you to enter another date for the same set of meals. For each type of meal there is a field for entering the name of the meal and three fields for entering the name, quantity and unit of measure (by default, grams) for one ingredient of the meal. To display more fields for entering more ingredients for a meal, click the "More" button under the name of the meal. An additional three fields for entering the name, quantity and unit of measure of the additional ingredient will then be displayed. To add a new position to the menu (date or a set of dates and a set of meals), use the "More positions" button at the bottom of the form. In case of a mistake when creating the menu, you can use the "Clear" buttons in individual columns of the form, which delete all the data in the appropriate column in a given item of the menu. After entering the data, save them by clicking the "Add" button. Days in which all fields will be left blank will be ignored when saving.

To modify the menu, click the "Edit" button next to the menu on the menu list. A form identical to the one used for adding a menu will be displayed, except that it is filled with the data of the edited menu. After making the changes, confirm them by clicking "Update".

To remove a menu, click the "Delete" button next to the menu on the menu list. A form identical to the menu edit will be displayed, except that it will be displayed in read-only mode. The intention to delete the menu should be confirmed by clicking the "Delete" button.

To generate a shopping list needed to prepare meals according to a given menu, click the "Shopping" button next to a given menu on the list of menus. A form will then be displayed allowing one to indicate the period for which meals are to be prepared and the number of residents (by default, the number of residents is calculated based on their assignment to menus). After completing the form and clicking the "Generate shopping list" button below the form, a shopping list will be displayed and the "Print" button to download (as a PDF file) and print this list.

To generate a collective shopping list for all menus in total, click the "Shopping (bulk)" button under the list of menus. A form similar to the one used to generate the shopping list for a single menu will then be displayed, with the only difference that it requires the number of residents for each menu.
